This 1/35 scale plastic assembly kit contains detailed modern infantry figures dressed in a desert scheme variant of the standard Woodland Camouflage uniform. Parts are included to recreate anti-tank weapons including missiles, rifles, radio sets, visors and much more, making them a perfect addition to models depicting vehicles and scenes from the Persian Gulf War.
From 1980, soldiers were equipped with a standard loose-fitting uniform known as Woodland Camouflage; for combat in sandy environments there was a desert scheme style uniform called Desert Battle Dress Uniform (DBDU). This uniform was basically the same as the standard Woodland Camouflage uniform, but featured desert pattern camouflage colors of brown and white/black dots on a sand color base. In addition, a more permeable material was used to better suit dry conditions.
